It's unfortunate someone hasn't come up with a way to invest in bands or artists. Not that it would be hard to do if you think about it. The question is how much trouble and money would be in such an endeavor? After the IPO would there be a secondary market willing to trade in shares of a band or artist? Would bands and artists be willing for further obey their "owners"? What would the Board of Director meetings be like? Would bands be willing to share their profits? So many questions...
I'll keep dreaming of the day, but in the meanwhile I'll just keep listing bands I'd invest in.
